Can you tell us a little bit about your background in fitness, and how you got started at Inspire?
After dedicating 15 years to Taekwondo, I wanted a new challenge - that's when I stumbled upon Boxing! For more than a decade, boxing has been my passion, and it's taken me on a transformative journey.
Boxing not only helped me maintain my fitness, but also enhanced my agility, endurance and mental resilience. The mental discipline and strategic thinking it demanded were both equally rewarding.
An unexpected twist occurred in my life when I lost my job during the pandemic. I started coaching people at nearby parks, and this experience ignited a newfound passion for instructing within me. Guiding others to achieve their fitness goals, and excel in boxing became my purpose. And it's eventually led me here; pursuing coaching as a full-time career!
What's one thing we might be surprised to learn about you?
I speak 3 languages, and I can play guitar, drums and sing!
What can we expect from your class?
In my class, you can expect BIG energy, a lot of fun, and a good challenge. What sets me apart is the dynamic and lively atmosphere I create. If you're looking for an engaging and exciting workout experience, my class is the place to be!
What are you inspired by?
I'm inspired by the belief that we can make the world a better place by impacting others positively. By inspiring and motivating individuals through energetic workouts, we have the potential to change someone's day, and, in turn, contribute to a more positive and empowered world.
The idea that our actions can have a ripple effect, spreading positivity and motivation, is a powerful source of inspiration for me.
The best piece of advice you've received on your fitness journey?
"Fitness is a process".
You need to be patient and not rush things. You should celebrate even small victories, and aim to improve a little bit every day.
When you workout, you might feel sore today, but that effort will pay off in the long run! And this mindset doesn't just apply to fitness - it applies to everyday life too. It's all about staying strong, staying focused, and pushing through challenges to reach your goals.
